Lara Croft: Tomb Raider is a 2001 action fantasy movie based on the video games of the same name. The film's plot is based around Lara Croft, a wealthy and skilled archaeologist who attempts to retrieve ancient artifacts from the illuminati. Other than that, the plot wears very thin and though filled with great fight scenes, some of the actors turn out to be one the best parts of the movie. Angelina Jolie shone in this film with a fantastic performance from start to finish. There's also some great stuff from supporting characters like Noah Taylor who played Bryce and Chris Barrie who played Hilary, Lara’s butler.
I do personally rather love this film as it’s rather exciting and at times sad (as in the scene where Lara gets to meet her dead father (who is played by her real father Jon Voight) for the last time). It’s a movie worth watching if you’d like a bit of a adventure story or a bit of action.
